Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using LucidFlow, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service.

2. Service Description

LucidFlow is an AI-powered software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that transforms business process documents into interactive BPMN diagrams, provides structural optimization, and generates AI transformation plans with tool recommendations and ROI projections.

3. Account Registration & Eligibility

To use LucidFlow, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the service.
  • Each individual may only create one account. Duplicate accounts may be terminated.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

When using LucidFlow, you agree not to:

  • Upload malicious, illegal, or harmful content, including content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the platform or its AI models.
  • Abuse API rate limits, attempt to circumvent security measures, or interfere with service operations.
  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

5. Intellectual Property

  • You retain full ownership of all documents you upload to LucidFlow.
  • The BPMN diagrams, optimization results, and transformation plans generated from your documents are your property.
  • The LucidFlow platform, brand, design, and underlying technology remain the exclusive property of LucidFlow.

6. AI Data Processing

LucidFlow uses artificial intelligence to analyze your documents and generate BPMN diagrams. By using the service, you acknowledge that:

  • Your uploaded documents are sent to the Google Gemini API for AI-powered analysis. If a Gemini request fails, the same content may be processed by the Anthropic Claude API as a fallback, under a zero data retention configuration.
  • Extracted text from your documents is stored in our database for session continuity and optimization.
  • Your document content is NOT used to train AI models. Processing is solely for providing the service to you.
  • You explicitly consent to this processing when you create your account.

7. Payments & Subscriptions

  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe. LucidFlow never stores your credit card details.
  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring cycle (monthly or annual) based on your selected plan.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods or unused features.

We comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

9. Service Availability

  • LucidFlow is provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted service, particularly for free-tier accounts.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
  • Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • LucidFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
  • Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. All your data will be permanently removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • LucidFlow may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service, with notice when reasonably possible.
  • Upon termination, your data is handled according to our data retention policy as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France.
  • Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
